Job Description<\/h2>\n
Through on the job training and compliance training, the trainee will learn the basic operation of the mill and a work area. As the trainee progresses he\/she will be required to learn the various workstations of the paper machine starting at the Winder area which consists of 3 substations (Winder Operator, Assistant Winder Operator and Strapper). <\/p>\n

INITIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:\u00a0\u00a0 Rewind jumbo rolls into custom size rolls depending on customer specifications; this includes weighing the rolls, strapping them and attaching labels.\u00a0 Trainee must work collaboratively with 2 or 3 other employees to run the unit.\u00a0 After completing training Trainees are required to pass a Winder assessment test in order to be classified as Winder Operators.<\/p>\n
