Acts as the Operator when the Operator is absent.<\/p>\n<p>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES \u2013 <\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Follow and ensure that crew members adhere to all applicable safe work policies &#8211; procedures.<br \/>\u2022 Maintain a safe &#8211; clean work area.<br \/>\u2022 Assists in ensuring the proper mechanical set up and running of the machine.<br \/>\u2022 Assists in ensuring that all orders produced are completed according to specifications provided.<br \/>\u2022 Maintain acceptable production rates.<br \/>\u2022 Complete all paper work and data entry as required.<br \/>\u2022 Assist in the training of crew members &#8211; learn to act as the operator when the operator is absent.<br \/>\u2022 Other duties as assigned by management.<\/p>\n<p>QUALIFICATIONS &#8211; To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Must be able to assist in performing a complete mechanical set up<br \/>\u2022 Must be able to assist in accurately registering the machine<br \/>\u2022 Must be able to operate the feed, folding and delivery sections of the machine<br \/>\u2022 Must have a reasonable knowledge of current Production Software<br \/>\u00a0\u00a0<br \/>EDUCATION and\/or EXPERIENCE &#8211;<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 High School Diploma or higher preferred (but not required)<\/p>\n<p>LANGUAGE SKILLS &#8211;<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Needs a working understanding of both written &#8211; spoken English<\/p>\n<p>MATHEMATICAL SKILLS \u2013<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Must be able to read &#8211; use a non metric measuring tape<br \/>\u2022 Must be able to count &#8211; perform simple mathematics (addition, subtraction, multiplication, &#8211; division)<\/p>\n<p>PHYSICAL DEMANDS &#8211;   The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
