JOB SUMMARY<\/b><\/p>\n

The Customer Service Specialist will provide customer support to Yellow customers. Serve customers in a courteous, efficient, and timely manner. Receive customer service telephone calls and answers customer questions to resolve customer issues.<\/p>\n

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES<\/b><\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Receive and process customer orders, inquiries and\/or complaints covering services provided.<\/li>\n
  2. Require analysis, judgment and sensitivity to customer needs.<\/li>\n
  3. Provide appropriate price quotes that fit the customer request.<\/li>\n
  4. Provide pricing, availability and schedule information.<\/li>\n
  5. Research and obtain resolution of a variety of customer complaints and issues.<\/li>\n
  6. Complete customer service calls in a timely and efficient manner.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

        MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS<\/b><\/p>\n

          \n
        1. High school diploma.<\/li>\n
        2. Effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.<\/li>\n
        3. Experience using MS Office applications (Word, Outlook, and Excel).<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

          PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n

            \n
          1. Experience in the transportation industry, billing, collections, or customer service.<\/li>\n
          2. Some college.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

            WORKING CONDITIONS<\/b><\/p>\n

            This job operates in a professional office environment indoors. Routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers and phones.<\/p>\n

            PHYSICAL DEMANDS<\/b><\/p>\n

            The position requires the ability to spend long hours sitting or standing while using office equipment and computers. Ability to perform repetitive tasks such as typing and keying.
