3rd Shift<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<div><strong style=font-size: 14px;><strong><span id=selectionBoundary_1624900270511_945067188514706 class=rangySelectionBoundary><\/span><br \/><\/strong><\/strong> <\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=font-size: 14pt;>SUMMARY:<\/span><\/strong><br \/>Responsible for all activities associated with helping operators on all machines including setup, operation, cleanup, and recommending improvements to operations.<br \/>This is an entry level, hourly position where advancement in operations is expected.<\/p>\n<p>DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES can include but are not limited to:<\/p>\n<p>Stages, prepares, lifts, and loads materials and other components required for the production process; may also utilize a computerized, mechanical, or automatic process to lift and\/or load materials.<\/p>\n<p>Monitors and adjusts gauges, valves, switches, pumps, and other components according to production requirements; follows appropriate sampling and quality control techniques.<\/p>\n<p>Lifts and prepares items required for the filling, labeling, packaging, and transporting of products.<\/p>\n<p>Operates a variety of computerized, manual, and mechanical equipment to process, unload, label, pack, and store work-in-progress and finished goods.<\/p>\n<p>Ensures compliance with operating policies and procedures to maintain a safe environment and efficient operations; may require the employee to wear safety equipment or gear.<\/p>\n<p>Completes appropriate paperwork and\/or enters data regarding materials, work-in-progress, finished goods, and other operations to ensure records and actions are accurate.<\/p>\n<p>Assists with maintaining a clean and safe working environment and may perform various janitorial or housekeeping tasks.<\/p>\n<p>Communicates with maintenance, quality control, warehousing, and other departments to maintain a safe and effective environment and to ensure quality products.<\/p>\n<p>Performs other duties as assigned<\/p>\n<p>EDUCATION and\/or EXPERIENCE<br \/>High school diploma or GED.<br \/>Experience within a manufacturing or production environment is preferred.<br \/>Servers\/service industry experience may be considered<\/p>\n<p>LANGUAGE SKILLS<br \/>Able to read and follow instructions on factory masters.<\/p>\n<p>MATHEMATICAL SKILLS<br \/>Able to read a tape measure with speed and accuracy. Able to calculate figures and amounts such as percentages, measurement, volume and rate. Able to apply concepts of high school math.<\/p>\n<p>REASONING ABILITY<br \/>Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or graphic form. Ability to deal with problems involving one or more concrete variables in standardized situations.<\/p>\n<p>TECHNICAL SKILLS<br \/>The individual must have a working knowledge of the following:<\/p>\n<p>Equipment design and capabilities that can be translated into efficient operation.<\/p>\n<p>Product layouts and production specifications<\/p>\n<p>Product quality specifications<\/p>\n<p>Quality standards<\/p>\n<p>CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS<br \/>May be required to maintain a current Lift Truck Operator License.<\/p>\n<p>PHYSICAL DEMANDS<br \/>The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the functions of this job.<\/p>\n<p>While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, and talk or hear.
