As an Animal Care Assistant you will be responsible for the care of \u00a0all species of animals at our state of the art safety sites, responsibilities include, feeding\/watering, sanitizing primary and secondary enclosures, environmental enrichment, handling and restraint and other related tasks including If you possess the following qualities, we will train you in the rest:<\/p>\n

1st shift M-F 7am-330pm; rotating wkd\/month and rotating holidays. $17\/hr. $1000 Sign on Bonus.<\/p>\n

  • Enjoys being part of a team<\/li>\n
  • Has the ability to work in a fast-paced environment<\/li>\n
  • Pays attention to detail<\/li>\n
  • Dependable<\/li>\n
  • Ability work independently<\/li>\n
  • Walk up to 5 miles per day on cement floors<\/li>\n
  • Push caging that could weigh up to 800 lbs.<\/li>\n
  • Spend a significant amount of time bending and\/or on your knees<\/li>\n
  • Lift up to 50 lbs., possible over the head; frequently 20-30lb<\/li>\n
  • Wear a respirator in a warm environment (must be clean shaven to properly wear a respirator)<\/li>\n
  • Work in close proximity to rodents and rabbits that may result in sensitization to allergens or exacerbate preexisting allergies<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
