Check anilox rolls for damage.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
Assist operator in other duties.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
Monitor board quality, including – loose liner, warp, dimensions, caliper, and any other defects.\u00a0 Report any quality problems to the operator and sort as necessary to keep the machine running.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/p>\n Work at pace set by the machine operator.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n Cross-train on other machines as necessary.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n Be willing to move up the line of progression to operator regardless of shift.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n Complete necessary reports in an accurate and timely manner.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n Turn in maintenance work orders to supervision for needed repairs.\u00a0 Be proactive in the maintenance of equipment.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/p>\n Comply with all company policies and procedures, including safety and maintaining good housekeeping.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n Helps operators adhere to production schedule.\u00a0 Makes recommendations for optimizing the schedule to meet cost, quality and service goals.\u00a0 Reports any unusual scheduling issues to Supervisor.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/p>\n Additional duties may be assigned by management.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n High school diploma or GED.<\/p>\n Candidates are PREFERRED<\/b> who offer the following:<\/p>\n 1.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span><\/span>Prior work experience in the corrugated industry.<\/p>\n 2.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span><\/span>6 months\u2019 experience as a Flexo Stacker.<\/p>\n 3.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span><\/span>6 months\u2019 experience in the Press and Finishing Department.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n Able to read and follow instructions on factory masters.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n Able to read a tape measure with speed and accuracy.\u00a0 Able to calculate figures and amounts such as percentages, measurement, volume and rate.\u00a0 Able to apply concepts of high school math.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/p>\n REASONING ABILITY<\/b> <\/p>\n Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or graphic form.\u00a0 Ability to deal with problems involving one or more concrete variables in standardized situations.<\/span><\/p>\n <\/b><\/p>\n TECHNICAL SKILLS<\/b><\/p>\n The individual must have a working knowledge of the following:<\/p>\n<\/p>\n Equipment design and capabilities that can be translated into efficient operation.\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n<\/p>\n Product layouts and production specifications<\/p>\n<\/p>\n Product quality specifications<\/p>\n<\/p>\n Quality standards<\/p>\n<\/p>\n CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS<\/b> <\/p>\n May be required to maintain a current Lift Truck Operator License.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n PHYSICAL DEMANDS\u00a0 <\/span><\/b><\/p>\n The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the functions of this job. <\/p>\n<\/p>\n While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, and talk or hear.\u00a0 The employee frequently is required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel;
