Process goods in an accelerated manner to meet production goals in a fast-paced environment while adhering to standard operating procedures.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Essential Functions:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Always display a professional, patient, and \u201cpeople first\u201d attitude with guests<\/li>\n<li>Provide a donation receipt to each guest at the time of donating<\/li>\n<li>Adequately handle guest questions and resolve problems by following agency and departmental standard operating procedures<\/li>\n<li>Properly sort donations into designated categories<\/li>\n<li>Effectively communicate with management when necessary<\/li>\n<li>Consistently perform work tasks according to training playbooks, e-learning and work instructions<\/li>\n<li>Evaluate and navigate decisions effectively<\/li>\n<li>Effectively promote and demonstrate cooperation and teamwork with peers<\/li>\n<li>Maintain a neat, clean and organized donor door area\/attended donation center(ADC) location<\/li>\n<li>Adhere to safety and security practices including reporting safety hazards and injuries to management<\/li>\n<li>Assist truck drivers with loading\/unloading donations<\/li>\n<li>Attend and complete all required trainings and meetings<\/li>\n<li>Perform other duties as assigned by management<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Job Requirements and Qualifications:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>High School Diploma or GED preferred<\/li>\n<li>One year or more (1+ years) of production experienced preferred<\/li>\n<li>Consistently foster a healthy team culture of exceptional guest experience<\/li>\n<li>Must have basic math and reading skills<\/li>\n<li>Must have good oral and written communication skills in English as well as interpersonal skills<\/li>\n<li>Must be able to work at any Goodwill of North Georgia ADC within the territory as needed<\/li>\n<li>Must be 18 years or older to become certified and licensed to operate a forklift (individuals age 16 to 17 will not be allowed to operate forklifts, balers or compactors)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Working Environment Conditions\/Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Must start employment in acceptable safety work shoes<\/li>\n<li>Must be able to work in all types of conditions including heat, cold and dust<\/li>\n<li>Must be able to meet all physical requirements to perform the duties of the position including the ability to bend, reach, grasp, stand and\/or walk for extended periods of time as well as the ability to push, pull and lift up to 30lbs with or without accommodation<\/li>\n<li>Must be available to work Monday through Sunday during operating hours as needed<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\u201cGoodwill of North Georgia is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
