Responsible for thoroughly examining and grading donated goods to sell in Goodwill of North Georgia Retail stores. Process goods in an accelerated manner to meet production goals in a fast-paced environment while adhering to standard operating procedures.<\/p>\n

Essential Functions:<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u2022 Always display a professional, patient, and \u201cpeople first\u201d attitude with guests<\/p>\n

\u2022 Provide a donation receipt to each guest at the time of donating<\/p>\n

\u2022 Adequately handle guest questions and resolve problems by following agency and departmental standard operating procedures<\/p>\n

\u2022 Properly sort donations into designated categories<\/p>\n

\u2022 Effectively communicate with management when necessary<\/p>\n

\u2022 Consistently perform work tasks according to training playbooks, e-learning and work instructions<\/p>\n

\u2022 Evaluate and navigate decisions effectively<\/p>\n

\u2022 Effectively promote and demonstrate cooperation and teamwork with peers<\/p>\n

\u2022 Maintain a neat, clean and organized donor door area\/attended donation center(ADC) location<\/p>\n

\u2022 Adhere to safety and security practices including reporting safety hazards and injuries to management<\/p>\n

\u2022 Assist truck drivers with loading\/unloading donations<\/p>\n

\u2022 Attend and complete all required trainings and meetings<\/p>\n

\u2022 Perform other duties as assigned by management<\/p>\n

Job Requirements and Qualifications:<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u2022 High School Diploma or GED preferred<\/p>\n

\u2022 One year or more (1+ years) of production experienced preferred<\/p>\n

\u2022 Consistently foster a healthy team culture of exceptional guest experience<\/p>\n

\u2022 Must have basic math and reading skills<\/p>\n

\u2022 Must have good oral and written communication skills in English as well as interpersonal skills<\/p>\n

\u2022 Must be 18 years or older to become certified and licensed to operate a forklift (individuals age 16 to 17 will not be allowed to operate forklifts, balers or compactors)<\/p>\n

Working Environment Conditions\/Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u2022 Must start employment in acceptable safety work shoes<\/p>\n

\u2022 Must be able to work in all types of conditions including heat, cold and dust<\/p>\n

\u2022 Must be able to meet all physical requirements to perform the duties of the position including the ability to bend, reach, grasp, stand and\/or walk for extended periods of time as well as the ability to push, pull and lift up to 30lbs with or without accommodation<\/p>\n
