Quarry Laborer
Quarry operations · Full-time roles may be available
Career example

Responsible for general laborer duties at the quarry as instructed by the foreman. Performs daily inspections, greases equipment, and assists with cleaning, maintenance and normal operating adjustments. Follows all company safety policies and procedures, including PPE requirements, and reports any issues to the Foreperson, Safety Manager or HR.

Key responsibilities
  • Perform pre-shift and end-of-shift equipment inspections
  • Assist with maintenance, cleaning and general quarry duties
  • Operate equipment safely and efficiently as instructed
  • Follow verbal instructions and work as part of a team
Requirements
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including overtime
  • Ability to lift, climb, bend and work in all weather conditions
  • Maintain a professional attitude and adhere to safety standards
