Manufacturing Helper (Entry Level)

What you’ll do

  • Support the line: assist operators at sheet-loading and packaging ends

  • Build & prep shipments: assemble pallets/containers with hand & power tools

  • Pack & label: band, palletize metal parts, apply tags/labels

  • Quality checks: measure length/width/weight using a tape, ruler, or calipers

  • Spot & report issues: flag defects or unsafe/faulty operations

  • Move materials: carry parts/equipment or use a sit-down forklift (training & certification provided)

  • Follow work orders: read and understand production orders

  • Wrap/unwrap materials and keep work areas clean (housekeeping)

  • Hit goals safely: meet production targets while following all safety rules

  • Pitch in as needed (other duties as assigned)

Community Stewardship at CCM

What it is

Across Carlisle Construction Materials (CCM), employees put their talents and passions to work through community service. These efforts reflect our values and build stronger relationships with the communities where we live and work.

How it started

  • Community Stewardship PD formed: Late 2022

  • Purpose: Create a simple playbook so CCM can support and scale community service in a consistent, sustainable way

  • Team makeup: A mix of remote, office, and production employees from multiple states and product lines

What the team did

  • Reviewed a previous Kaizen on charitable outreach

  • Pulled key learnings from past efforts across CCM

  • Turned research into clear, company-wide practices

What we delivered

  • Volunteer Time Off (VTO) policy — dedicated time for employees to volunteer

  • Carlisle Charitable Committee — governance and guidance for giving and service

These are major steps in strengthening CCM’s charitable footprint and show the commitment of our PD members—even after the project concluded.

What’s next

Responsibility now moves to seven hand-selected members of the CCM organization, vetted by Senior Leadership. Their goal: create a force multiplier—building on what’s working and expanding our impact through our greatest resource: our people.
