Samaritan Daytop Village offers evidence-based residential and outpatient treatment, detoxification, mental health services, and on-site medical care for men and women struggling with substance use, and guides them to the road to recovery.
Good for those who have protected our freedoms
Samaritan Daytop Village pioneered programs to help veterans suffering from substance use, post-traumatic stress disorders and other life challenges. Today, we operate three residential treatment facilities for veterans including the nation’s first exclusively for women veterans.

Challenges like substance use, certain mental health diagnoses, and homelessness can tear families apart. Our comprehensive line-up of services work keep families together, improve overall health and wellness, and provide stable housing to homeless or near homeless families.

Samaritan Daytop Village works with men, women and families in our shelters, family and single-adult residences, and treatment programs to help them build the needed skills and identify the resources to return to their communities and live independently. Samaritan Daytop Village is expanding its permanent housing services to assist individuals and families who have the means to rent an affordable home.

Samaritan Daytop Village provides vocational and educational assessment, career counseling, job placement assistance, and referrals for literacy and skills training to ensure clients become gainfully employed and self-sufficient when they leave our programs and return to the community.
