Are you interested in building roads, working with heavy equipment, and learning how construction projects come together? This paid internship gives you real-world experience in construction while working alongside professionals in the industry.
What You’ll Do:
Over the course of three months, you’ll rotate through different departments, including: 🔹 Plant Operations – Learn how materials like sand and gravel are processed. 🔹 Quality Control & Sales – See how construction materials are tested and sold. 🔹 Ready-Mix Concrete & Asphalt – Understand the process of making and using these essential materials. 🔹 Construction Sites – Work on active projects and see how roads and infrastructure are built. 🔹 Mechanic Shops, Safety, and Dispatch – Get a behind-the-scenes look at equipment maintenance and jobsite safety.
At the end of your internship, you’ll present what you’ve learned in a final project!
What to Expect:

What You’ll Do:
As a Quarry Laborer, you’ll be working in an active quarry, helping with: 🔹 Equipment Inspections – Make sure machines are running safely and efficiently. 🔹 General Maintenance – Grease equipment, clean machinery, and perform basic repairs. 🔹 Site Safety – Follow safety procedures to keep yourself and your team protected. 🔹 Hands-On Work – Use tools, move materials, and assist with other quarry tasks. 🔹 Team Collaboration – Work closely with your crew and supervisors to get the job done.

Interested in a hands-on role that keeps construction moving? Asphalt plants are where roads begin, and as an Asphalt Plant Crew Member, you’ll play a key role in keeping everything running smoothly!
What You’ll Do:
As part of the team, you’ll help with: 🔹 Equipment Maintenance – Keep the plant in top shape with repairs and upkeep. 🔹 Material Handling – Shovel, load, and level construction materials. 🔹 Power & Hand Tools – Work with tools like hammers, drills, and tampers. 🔹 Site Safety – Follow OSHA/MSHA regulations and wear proper safety gear. 🔹 Teamwork – Work closely with your crew to ensure smooth plant operations.
What to Expect:
✅ Outdoor Work – Be prepared for all types of weather. ✅ Physical Labor – Climbing, lifting, and using tools are part of the job. ✅ Flexible Schedule – Some nights, weekends, and overtime may be required. ✅ Hands-On Learning – Gain experience in mechanics, equipment operation, and plant maintenance.
Who Should Apply?
