Peabody is currently hiring experienced Electricians to join its underground mining operations across the United States. These roles are critical to maintaining the safety, reliability, and performance of essential mining equipment through expert electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic repairs on underground mining equipment
- Maintain equipment in permissible condition as defined by MSHA regulations
- Conduct scheduled maintenance and complete required documentation
- Support additional operational tasks as needed

Ideal Candidates Will Have:
- A high school diploma or GED
- Current MSHA electrical certification (high, medium, and low voltage – underground)
- At least one year of underground mining experience
- Knowledge of mining regulations and electrical permissibility standards
- Strong skills in welding, fabrication, and equipment troubleshooting
- High personal safety standards and a proactive work ethic
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including overtime and weekends
- The ability to interpret blueprints and service manuals
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and stoop for long periods in underground conditions
- Regularly lift 25–50 lbs; occasionally lift up to 75 lbs
- Ability to climb ladders/stairs and navigate confined or low-clearance spaces
- Must meet vision and hearing standards required for safety-sensitive roles
