 Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Ability to work with team members in Maintenance department to operate equipment in a safe and efficient manner that supports the operation of the Bakery
  • Ability to effectively evaluate and direct work requirements related to work orders
  • Lead shift activity for area responsible
  • Ability to train and coach other team members
  • Conducts preventive maintenance checks to ensure equipment operate safely and efficiently
  • Ensure PM completion rates above goal for associated team
  • Wok with Continuous Improvement Manager to help lead Problem solving/Root Cause Analysis events for assigned area
  • Meet with area leadership set the daily direction in the area responsible
  • Assist in project teams to implement process change/ product testing and implementation
  • Act as key point of contact in Supervisors absence.
  • Assist shift leader to manage department budget within limits

Requirements

  • Minimum of high School Diploma required
  • General knowledge of machine operation and repair
  • Working knowledge of GMP/cGMP
  • Excellent attitude and work ethic
  • Exceptional leadership skills to support the plant goals
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Willingness to work toward future leadership opportunities
  • Effective verbal and written communication skill
  • Working knowledge of basic computer program including Microsoft Office Suite
