At Science Factory Camp (by Bright Horizons), you’ll help kids explore science through creativity, experimentation, and play — learning by doing, not just watching.


🎯 Roles Available

🧪 Summer Camp Counselor

Be at the heart of the camp experience. You’ll lead a group of campers (ages 6–12), guide them through daily activities, and create a safe, supportive space where they can try new things, build confidence, and have fun.


🔁 Summer Substitute Camp Counselor

Step in where needed to support different groups and activities. Perfect if you’re adaptable, enjoy variety, and like working across teams to keep the camp running smoothly.


⭐ Summer Camp Lead Counselor

Take on more responsibility by helping coordinate activities, support other counselors, and ensure each day runs seamlessly. Ideal if you’re confident, organised, and ready to step into leadership.


🌟 What You’ll Be Doing

  • Support and supervise a group of campers
  • Run fun, hands-on science activities
  • Help kids try new things and solve problems
  • Create a safe, inclusive, and energetic environment
  • Build strong relationships with campers and your team

👤 Who This Is Perfect For

  • Students aged 16+
  • People who enjoy working with kids
  • Energetic, patient, and positive personalities
  • Anyone curious, creative, and open to learning
  • Great for future teachers, scientists, or leaders

✅ What You Need

  • No college degree required
  • Must be 16+
  • Some experience with kids is helpful (camp, babysitting, coaching, etc.)
  • Willingness to get First Aid & CPR certified before camp starts
  • Ability to work in a team and stay calm in a fast-paced environment

  • Camp setup: June 19–21
  • Camp runs: June 22 – August 21
  • Pack down: August 22
