Work-based Learning (Part-Time)

Position Overview

Harrison’s paid work-based learning program works with students to bridge their classroom education with real work experiences at our mechanic shops or asphalt plants. We will work with your classroom schedule to ensure a well-rounded part-time workload throughout the semester.

Asphalt Plants

Students who choose to work at our asphalt plants will have the opportunity to learn alongside our Asphalt Plant Operators and Laborers to learn all functions of a safe and operational asphalt plant.

Mechanic Shops

Students who choose to work at our mechanic shops will have the opportunity to learn alongside our mechanics who work on our company trucks, Ready Mix Concrete mixer trucks, and heavy machinery.

Harrison’s goal for all work-based learning team members is to offer full time employment after graduation. Many of our current full-time team members started off as work-based learners. We hope you consider joining the Harrison team!
