Age & Qualifications

  • Minimum Age: 18 for job sites (due to safety) & 21 if operating a company vehicle
  • Education: High school diploma or GED preferred required
  • Driver’s License: Required for most positions

What You Can Do While Still in School

Build Communication Skills

  • Practice speaking clearly and confidently—whether it’s in class, at a part-time job, or volunteering.
  • Join clubs like debate, drama, or student council to get comfortable talking to people and presenting ideas.

Stay Organized & Reliable

  • Show up on time, meet deadlines, and keep track of responsibilities. Jobs love candidates who are dependable.
  • Use planners or apps to manage tasks—this builds habits that transfer directly to admin or technician roles.

Get Hands-On Experience
