Electricians, Welders & Mechanics
Peabody Powder River Services is seeking qualified candidates for all maintenance positions. We have openings at Caballo, North Antelope Rochelle Mine (NARM) and Rawhide.
Caballo is about 20 miles southeast of Gillette, WY. The mine has three inbound and two outbound tracks that connect with the BNSF and UP railroads joint line. Caballo has approximately 465 million tons of proven and probable reserves.
NARM is located 65 miles south of Gillette, WY and the Company provides busing to and from work at no charge; buses depart from Gillette, Wright, Newcastle, Douglas, Glenrock and Casper. NARM is the world’s largest coal mine with the cleanest coal in the United States. NARM has a world-class mining and technology focus, integrating real-time planning and advanced blending to meet customized customer requirements.
Rawhide is located 10 miles north of Gillette, WY. Rawhide uses dozer/casting and truck/shovel methods. In 2019, Rawhide sold 10.1 million tons of coal.
Paid Internships
$23.25/hour
$750.00/month stipend, for eligible interns
Excellent on the job training
Candidates must have completed one year of their education in their field
Full-time Opportunities
Pay range: $25.95 – $38.61 per hour
Benefits start date of hire and include: health, vision & dental insurance, 401k with Company match, and PTO
Ability to work safely and encourage safe behavior in others
Able to work 12 hour rotating shifts, weekends and overtime when required and/or available (6:30 to 6:30)
