  • Andersen in the U.S. was founded in 2002 by 23 former Arthur Andersen partners under the name WTAS.
  • In 2014, WTAS announced that it had acquire the rights to the iconic brand name Andersen and would rename itself Andersen Tax.
  • In 2019, Andersen Tax became Andersen.

For students, we’d like to call attention to a few specific benefits that we offer as you begin your collegiate journey.

Student Loan Paydown Plan

Through our partnership with Gradifi, employees are eligible to receive $100 per month towards their student loan debt for a maximum duration of five years. At the end of the fifth year, Andersen will pay a lump sum of $6,000 towards the outstanding loan for a total of $12,000 in loan relief.

Tuition Reimbursement

We offer tuition reimbursement up to $5,250 per year for qualifying courses taken at an accredited university.

University of San Francisco MLST, LLM, MBA, and Tax Writing Programs

Our unique partnership with The University of San Francisco offers employees the opportunity to earn a Master of Legal Studies in Taxation (MLST), a Master of Laws in Taxation (LLM), a Master of Business Administration (MBA); or to participate in a Tax Writing & Research Essential Program at no cost. Participants can complete a portion of the coursework during business hours to assist them in succeeding in the program.

Professional Accreditation

Employees obtaining a professional designation (CPA, CFA, Bar) will be reimbursed for exam sitting fees as well as $2,000 in course training materials. If pursuing the CPA, we provide one full set of Becker CPA review course materials. Once you pass an approved professional designation exam, employees are eligible to receive a $5,000 bonus.

Aspire Program

This one-day program gives students the opportunity to learn about the Accounting industry, get a sneak peak into the tax field, and walk away with helpful tips and tricks to navigate the business world!

Who: College Freshmen

When: April / May 2024

Accelerate Program

This one-day program gives students a look into what life is like as an Andersen Intern. Participants will network with professionals, learn about various service lines, and learn high-level about the CPA exam.

Who: College Sophomores

When: January / February 2024

Internship Program

This 8-to-10-week paid program gives students real world exposure into the life of an Andersen Associate. Interns will engage with clients, conduct case studies, and participate in technical training.

This is a great way to get an inside look at our firm, our people, and our work.

When: Spring / Summer / Fall

Where: In varying office locations

Ambassador Program

This paid program is for past Interns who will be returning to their university campus prior to joining Andersen for either a second internship or as an Associate. Andersen Ambassadors help build the Andersen brand by assisting with, recommending, and attending campus recruiting events.

They help identify and cultivate future talent and promote brand awareness on campus.
